So, I found out from a fellow bonfire-goer that the witch at the top of the trees is the focus. If the fire reaches her and burns this means the winter ends soon. If not, then there is still more days of winter to come. We stood as long as we could(Ava and I, the boys went to the car) but didn't stay till the end. By the looks of the weather today.....the fire reached the forest witch and burned, it was gorgeous!
